How to tell if an adult has an ear infection?
How do I know if I have an ear infection. Last I went to the opposite ear doctors told me it was just inflammation and had one of those little buttons in this country. How I know if the other does not do the same thing? The symptoms I have are the following: intense pain from the neck up bottom of the inner ear. Inflammation of the ear pain Pussing bleeding head peel the top layer of skin inside and outside the ear hole pussing slope and no cold or illness, no fever, dizziness hearing loss very very light is very painful much worse than what happened in my other ear. How can I know for sure without going to a doctor. This has been going on for about 2 weeks. Only the pain has decreased to date.
Something is obviously wrong and you need to see an otolaryngologist (Ear, nose and throat) at as possible. You put a lot of symptoms to sound as if several conditions happening at once – and yet you say hearing loss is minimal, which is surprising. Honestly, it makes no sense to me. A detailed history, and physical examination is the only correct way to diagnose your condition (s).
