Everything can affect you (and it does) some things in positive ways and some in bad. Each body is different and so I dont know what does or does not work for your body. Is something you will have to find out as you go throught life.
In regards to your acne I would advise you go to your GP (or the doctor that normally sees you) and tell him/her of the problem.
My advice would be to ask for a cream/gel not antibiotics that you take as in pills because that way your stomach will suffer and at the same time it will take ages to get to your acne and cure them.
So having decided on cream/gel there are two good options:
1. Duac once daily action gel – it is a gel that you apply once in 24hrs. It is usually applied at night so it can work throughout the night, whilst you sleep. It is very expensive if you buy it privately (it costs £55.00 for 50 gr.), but if you get it on prescription it would be the normal prescription change of £7.20 {for adults, or if you are under 16 – free (or under 18 and in full time education – free)}. You must apply it for at least 6-8 weeks before you start noticing the affects, so you must be consistent for it to work (if you miss days and don’t apply it its as if you start from scratch the next day).
2. Zineryt (its a powdery antibiotic that is mixed with water by your pharmacist and is applied on the affected areas twice daily – in the morning and in the night). It is cheaper to buy privately, but the same cost as Duac if you get it on prescription.
Both 1 and 2 are antibiotic cream/gel, the second one is a weaker antibiotic than the first. The first in addition to anitbiotics has chlorine, but in medically safe amounts. Depending on how bad your acne is the doctor will decide whether you need cream/gel 1 or 2. It is also good to know of both options in case you are allergic to one of the ingredients in the cream/gel.
If you go for something straight from your pharmacist – i.e. you are embarrassed to got to your doctor – ask for a cream/gel with nemibacin/neomycin antibiotic. It is generally a very good antibiotic, few people are allergic to it and it works fairly quickly (4-6 weeks).
Also I would advise you search on the internet “Oil Pulling” and being practicing it. I helps with a lot of things and it is really cheap (only the cost of a bottle of sunflower oil from the supermarket).
In addition visit http://www.dermatherapybedding.co.uk/ and buy some products from there (some are available on the NHS, but most aren’t).
Best of luck!
As you see there are many antibiotic creams that you could try and just see which is best for your acne and skin type, there is not telling which one is best suited for you unless you give them a go (but not all at the same time). It’s important to see what works for you. Once you know this it will be easier to cure the acne and keep it at bay.
Be strong and know there is a cure; it just takes time and pressure
