Kenalog injection is good for acne on the back of the neck?

I have about 9 to 10 black small grains in the back of my neck – near the hairline. Dermatologist suggested using injections of Kenalog. Does anyone recommend these? Are there any side effects. Appreciate alternative drugs successfully.
