cortisone injections / derms in the UK?
I have jealousy when I hear in the U.S. peoplle say "I went to the dermis because I woke up this morning with a cyst on his face and gave me some cortisone to get rid of him: "We have such places here? I have had cystic acne for years and when I eventually manage to get an appointment with my doctor, do not give me the option of something like a cortisone shot. Only the antibiotics usually take a week of work and then the cyst returns anyway. Some of my cysts on my face that come and go every few months, I've had about 12 years. Im in my early years 20 now. I even mentioned a cortisone shot my doc once and he looked like he was talking in another language. So very depressing. Do we derms in this country where you can just make an appointment and get shot? Why are we always 10 years behind the Americans in everything!? If i had a syringe id try a DIY surgery at this time … no joke. thx
