How to get rid of acne on your neck?

Ance I have this itch in the neck that just will not disappear. I've cleaned up, put the medicine in it, nothing seems to work. I hear you just put lotion on your help. But I'm not sure. Please help me! I just want it gone. I am also 18 years and have had acne problems through all my teenage years
