Birth control pills do nothing for my acne?
I had acne for years and nothing seems to work. I heard that before Christ can do wonders for your skin If your acne is caused by hormonal problems. I do not know if my acne is caused by this or not, but have irregular periods. It's been six years since I started my period but my period never seems to happen at the right time. It was as always comes once in 2-3 months, even when it does, I have a light flow and stops after about 3-4 days. But nothing is ever cramps / PMS, though (which can be good, I guess ..). I have pimples on the cheeks and around the forehead and my chin / chin. These grains are not red, but the entire area of skin where the buttons are showing much redness as a whole. BC will do anything for my acne?
would not hurt to try. ask your doctor about birth control pill that is clinically proven to help with acne, such as Ortho Tri-Cyclen. If you do not take birth control (although you might want, which helps regular menstruation) is a hormonal treatment is available called spironolactone, which helps to treat acne.
